Grandma Maile Hafukimoana Vea Vimahi

On February 4, 2011 a faithful servant of the Lord was called home, Maile Hafukimoana Vea Vimahi. Grandma was a gentle soul who loved unconditional and devoted herself to her family. There was nothing grandma wouldn't do for any of us let alone a stranger. She was humble, loving and kind. Sometimes we'd call her a lil "kafi" meaning rascal to a sense in Tongan, but her heart was pure as gold. I will remember her always and the funny lil things she use to do and remember her smile piercing through. Her unconditional love will always stay with me in my heart and her examples of what a mother and a daughter should be will be my greatest example as I begin my journey into motherhood.

I am grateful for the yrs Heavenly Father blessed us with to have grandma and grateful for all that she endured and sacrificed for the sake of providing for her children and grandchildren. If there is anything granmda taught me it would be to love one another. No matter what through thick and thin, family is all we have. Yes we may not always agree and yes we may say things we do not mean, but at the end of the day your family is truly all you need. I thank you Grandma for your undying love for each of us. I will miss you and treasure you always...til we're together again...families are forever ;)
