BUSY AS A BEE.....

Finally got some time to update blog. The past week has been very hectic & busy as ever!!! We had less than 2 days to find a new place and gratefully the Lord blessed us! The very first place we viewed was what we went with. It's small but affordable, clean and not to mention landlord allows dogs :) It's hard to find a place on Maui that allows pets and our lil Dallas Cowboy is definitely a part of the Ohana & can't be left behind. Along with moving baby furniture and gear (seats, bassinets etc..) had to be assembled and gratefully we were able to get all of that done & out of the way. Baby will be here soon so getting all of that done was only right. I'm sure being busy will not let up once baby arrives, will probably be 100X more hectic hehehe but I'm ready to take it on :) Til next time.........
Baby will love this bassinet/pack & play...thank you Delilah & Lavinia

The beautiful crib from Aunty Nala...Bedding from Aunty Lyn....Sweet dreams are bound to happend here!

Our Son...Dallas Cowboy :)

It was funny how he came into our lives. He originally was Hifo's brothers puppy, but they kept him outside tied to a rope and when I laid eyes on him I knew he should belong to me! Some how his brother agreed and the rest is history. That very 1st day, we took him to the pet store to get him a leash & collar and we took him to what would become our daily hang out, Cowboy & I....Kalama Beach Park. Cowboy was about 2 months when we got him. He was definitely the cutest puppy ever & he just melted my heart.....
How we spent our days while daddy was @ work..just the 2 of us..cruise all day long
and hang out @ the park..Cowboy was about 2 months old on this pix..look @ all that cuteness

Cowboy was just the perfect addition to our lil family at that time. We had just gotten married and I had just moved to Maui. I was totally homesick and feeling what some would say "depressed". Hifo had work so it pretty much left us on our own. I remember days of just sitting in the car at Hifo's work waiting for him to get off work w/Cowboy. He wasn't welcomed at the house to much, old Tongans believe animals belong outdoors, but he was my dog & my house so he lived indoors only thing, we spent more time away from our own home than at home LOL

Look @ that face! Who on earth can resist!

We decided to get his very own Hawaiian shirt..after all he is our lil Hawaiian local boy :)

What he mostly did @ the park..I suppose since he was just a lil puppy..
like human babies they too sleep all day & stay up all night

Cowboy put the charm on just about anyone! He doesn't meet a stranger and he loves people. Pitbulls are given such a terrible rep by those who don't truly understand their breed. We have had nothing but positive interaction with Cowboy and likewise with other dogs. He has never attack another dog even though 3 small dogs have attacked him. He's mellow and loves people and other dogs, unless you're @ our fence LOL....We just love our Dallas Cowboy & have so much fun with him! Of all the dogs I have had in my life, Cowboy takes the cake. He's loving, caring & makes us sooo happy!!! Thank you Cowboy for being the best ever "son"...mom & dad love u

The lil man in our lives...Dallas Cowboy Hafoka...we love u dearly son!

The Parentals...Mommy & Daddy

November 30, 2006....The day we pledged our undying love for each other LOL, it was our wedding day :) How grateful I am to have this wonderful man in my life. He is loving, kind and truly humble in everyway. I don't believe there's a mean bone in his body just a lot of soft tissue :) I am so grateful to be blessed with such a husband. I on the other hand can be rough around the edges yet sweet LOL! I am passionate about all things in my life and there's never a dull moment with me. My greatest accomplishment I know is becoming a wife & mother. It's a forever thing that no one can take away from me & I'm honored to have these lil people in my life. I hope to have more children, but whatever the Lord has in store for our lil family is what I'll take.

November 28, 2009 we were sealed for All Time & Eternity in the Dallas Temple. A day in which we will never forget! Making and keeping sacred covenants for the sake of having an eternal family...Nothing sweeter! I love you MR. HAFOKA!! Thank you for tagging along on this adventerous ride called LIFE :) you are mine forever! You, Dallas Cowboy & Anelaokalani Taionala Maile "baby Nala"..for an ETERNITY!

Grandma Maile Hafukimoana Vea Vimahi

On February 4, 2011 a faithful servant of the Lord was called home, Maile Hafukimoana Vea Vimahi. Grandma was a gentle soul who loved unconditional and devoted herself to her family. There was nothing grandma wouldn't do for any of us let alone a stranger. She was humble, loving and kind. Sometimes we'd call her a lil "kafi" meaning rascal to a sense in Tongan, but her heart was pure as gold. I will remember her always and the funny lil things she use to do and remember her smile piercing through. Her unconditional love will always stay with me in my heart and her examples of what a mother and a daughter should be will be my greatest example as I begin my journey into motherhood.

I am grateful for the yrs Heavenly Father blessed us with to have grandma and grateful for all that she endured and sacrificed for the sake of providing for her children and grandchildren. If there is anything granmda taught me it would be to love one another. No matter what through thick and thin, family is all we have. Yes we may not always agree and yes we may say things we do not mean, but at the end of the day your family is truly all you need. I thank you Grandma for your undying love for each of us. I will miss you and treasure you always...til we're together again...families are forever ;)

Anelaokalani Taionala Maile Hafoka

It's 35 weeks and we're getting pretty anxious! Our lil "angel of heaven" will be here very soon. I cannot express how grateful I am and how excited I am to become a mother soon! I know that this is a journey worth taking, a journey which won't be easy by any means, but I know it's the right journey for me. I promise to love you, cherish you, protect you and provide all that you need from the smallest to the biggest of things. I promise to provide you with a safe haven from this world and teach you all that I know and encourage you to be all that you can be in this life. I know you will teach me so much as we take this journey together, mother & daughter. I know not what the future holds for us, but I do know one thing is for sure, I promise to be the best mother a lil angel could ever ask for. I may fall short at times, but my love for you will never waver or go astray...families are forever my Anela! I love you so much!

After almost 5yrs of being married we are expecting our very first human baby! For the past 4yrs we've been highly entertained by our 1st "baby" our rednose pitbull Dallas Cowboy. It's been a roller coaster ride these past 4 & 1/2 yrs filled with many blessings & good times. That's not to say we haven't had any bad times. Everyone experiences ups & downs but we've overcome so much to get to where we are at this point. No looking back now Hifo & Cowboy....my ride or die boys! I love my family to the max, nothing and no one will come between us and I'm just grateful for each blessing!
